Scrub is the trail name of a long-distance hiker and general overland-journey enthusiast from Eugene, Oregon. Scrub is the trail name of a long-distance hiker, county collector and general overland-journey enthusiast from Tucson, Arizona. He thru-hiked the 2660-mile Pacific Crest Trail in 2013 and completed the 2180-mile Appalachian Trail in 2014, having walked most of it already in 2011. He intends to hike the Continental Divide Trail and visit all of the counties in the United States before he grows old and inert.
